Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Corporate Social Responsibility forms a key and integral part of 76 Portland Place business strategy.

Our activities or those of our employees may have an effect on the environment, and this is of great importance to us. 76 Portland Place endeavours to operate in a socially responsible manner, with particular emphasis on the following areas:

• People - We will ensure that all employees are treated with fairness and with respect and we will provide a safe environment in which to work.
• Training - We will provide appropriate information, training and support to ensure that all employees improve performance in respect of the environment.
• Communication - We will ensure that our Environmental Policy promotes action rather than words by maintaining focus through our Environmental Leadership Team.
• Legislative Requirements - We will meet and, where, practical, exceed all relevant regulatory requirements and ensure no illicit activities occur within our business.
• Materials - We will utilise materials and processes which have minimal impact on the environment and produce minimal harmful waste.
• Production - We will conduct our business using environmentally friendly materials and equipment, which are energy efficient and produce minimal harmful waste upon disposal.
• Recycling - We will minimise waste produced through our business activities and look for innovative ways to recycle material.
• Energy - We will reduce our demand on energy from our activities
• Transport - We will use, where practicable , efficient transport systems for goods and personnel.
• Public - We will provide information that enables products to be properly used, stored and disposed of so as to avoid damage to the environment.
• Working with the Community - We will ensure that 76 Portland Place continues to support local community.
